Brew me up
I made an amazing cup of greek coffee today. It was nice and smooth, no feeling of dust in the drink – even when I got to the bottom of the cup, sipping up the last bit of liquid that was just above the bed of coffee grounds. Is it even fair to call them grounds? The fineness of the grind hardly seems to qualify them as something so gritty sounding as grounds – they feel something more like… silt. I love coffee, though I am by no means the blooming aficionado that Skunkie is quickly becoming. I remember not too many years ago I absolutely hated coffee and could only drink it if it was drowning in flavored syrups/creamers. But not anymore. Now I’m slowly working my way toward enjoying coffee with out all the bells and whistles, besides the ones it naturally comes with anyway. In honor of Skunkie’s mad roasting skills, I decided that I would do a coffee photo shoot. I have a couple of reasons for this: one, I told Skunkie I would do a review of the coffee she gave me for Atomac.net, which must have a picture to go with it, and secondly, because I know Skunkie has been on the search for decent coffee wallpapers for her iMac. Now, I don’t know whether any of the ones I took are gonna suit her needs for a wallpaper, but no matter, ’cause I had fun doing it.
